  • “Paper Avalakki” is also known as Nylon Avalakki. It is referred to as flattened or beaten rice in Kannada, a language spoken in the Indian state of Karnataka. Just like regular poha, avalakki is commonly used in Indian cuisine to prepare various dishes, especially breakfast items. Making paper avalakki involves using very thin, flattened rice flakes, often thinner than the standard thickness used for regular Poha dishes. This thinness can result in a different texture and mouthfeel when cooked. All pictures shown are for illustration purposes only. Actual product sizes may vary.
